Gears of War: E-Day will put an end to old PCs - system requirements published

The Coalition has revealed the system requirements for Gears of War: E-Day. Judging by the published data, owners of old PCs should consider upgrading: the game does not support GeForce GTX 10 series graphics cards and older models.

There is still time until the prequel's release on October 6, 2026, but the game is already available for pre-order. Along with this, the developers have published the minimum requirements:

• OS: Windows 10 64-bit (22H2)
• Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X / Intel Core i7-6850K / Intel Core i5-10400
• RAM: 12 GB
• Graphics Card: GeForce RTX 2060, RTX 5050, Radeon RX 6600, Radeon RX 9060 or Intel Arc A580
• DirectX 12

For recommended settings, you will need:

• OS: Windows 11 64-bit (25H2) or newer
• Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 / Intel Core i5-11600K
• RAM: 16 GB
• Graphics Card: GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, RTX 5060, Radeon RX 6700 XT, Radeon RX 9060 XT or Intel Arc B580
• DirectX 12

The game will also require 130 GB of free space and an SSD. Owners of the Premium Edition will be able to start playing five days earlier — from October 1.
