Forza Horizon 6 developers improved physics and optimization, fixed the festival, and accelerated Horizon Play progression

The developers also made it a bit easier to find missed roads on the map.

In mid-June, Forza Horizon 6 developers introduced the "Series 2 Update." It includes technical improvements and more.

Playground Games studio announced that they implemented fixes to improve game stability and performance. They also "improved difficulty balancing" and corrected Drivatar behavior at the start of races.

Additionally, audio performance was improved on "low-spec devices," and the volume of air valves on the 2010 Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 SV was adjusted.

Developers fixed a bug that allowed players to complete some daily challenges and seasonal tasks in advance.

A problem where daily challenges in different seasons were not unlocking for some players was also fixed. The authors of Forza Horizon 6 decided to award players points for missed daily tasks:

All daily challenge points from “Series 1” will be retroactively awarded for each season players participated in. To claim them, players need to open “Series 1” in the playlist history.

They also adjusted the amount of experience between levels 26 and 100 in Horizon Play — now the "Maxed Out" achievement can be obtained significantly faster:

Players who have already made significant progress (level 25 and above) will notice a sharp increase in level and receive new badges. Players at level 32 and above will be automatically promoted to level 100, receive badges, and the “Maxed Out” achievement.

The statistics system has been expanded — it will now show the percentage of roads discovered in the "region overview," making it easier to find missed roads.

Drag tire physics were adjusted to "better match expected behavior":

The team noticed that these tires significantly reduced the Performance Index (PI) while providing enough lateral grip to be effectively used outside of drag races. This does not align with their original purpose. Therefore, changes have been made so that drag tires are no longer the optimal choice outside of drag events.
