Unfrozen studio has returned to Heroes of Might and Magic: Olden Era and presented a major update "Patch #10". It includes various bug fixes, as well as new features.
For example, the authors of Olden Era added a confirmation window when clicking the "Exit" button in the disconnection window, and also noted that in battles against a computer player, the troop deployment selected in the tactical phase will now be saved.
The developers clarified that "deployment saving" only works in regular battles with neutral opponents. In battles for objects or against other players, the army is placed in default positions. The "saving" itself will occur at the end of the tactical phase in regular battles with neutral opponents.
Some fixes and improvements:
- Fixed a bug where the effect of the "Diplomat's Word" set did not trigger.
- Fixed a bug where the tooltip with extended information about a scroll continued to display over the previous cell where the scroll was located.
- Improved visual display of troop movement in tactical mode, added sound.
- Fixed a bug where in campaign mode, auto-battle did not work when attacking garrison-guarded objects.
- Fixed a bug where numerous interface errors occurred after loading a save of a previously started game in hotseat mode or when exchanging positions with a computer player in the lobby of a previously started game.
- Fixed a rare bug in tournament templates where a player, attacking a neutral unit in the last second of the timer before the start of a tournament battle, would lose the ability to interact with the neutral unit after the battle was over.
