According to the financial report, Capcom's revenue from sales through Valve amounted to 40.38 billion yen (approximately $252 million). This represents 20.7% of the company's total revenue, including non-gaming business.

In comparison, sales related to Sony brought in 20.74 billion yen (approximately $129 million), accounting for 10.6% of total revenue. The gap remains significant, although a year ago it was even larger: at that time, Steam accounted for over 31% of the company's revenue.

The growth of the PC segment is not surprising. According to Capcom, 54.5% of all copies of its games sold were digital sales on computers.

Company president Haruhiro Tsujimoto previously stated that the transition to digital distribution was one of the most important stages in Capcom's history. Thanks to Steam, games continue to sell for years after release and provide stable revenue.

The company uses these funds for new projects and the return of old franchises. Capcom also plans to expand its PC game catalog and actively promote them among Steam users.
