In June, fans of Vangers celebrate the project's 28th anniversary. Association K-D Lab joined the celebration and released a special update for the game:
We are celebrating the 28th anniversary of our beloved game in a special way. Years of work have been completed: 60 FPS frame rate has been added to the game. Experience cargo delivery, raff hunting, participation in ritual races, collecting nyukha, and much more at a new level.
The developers stated that players can switch between old and new FPS in the graphics settings. In addition, they announced that they have fixed "a ton of bugs" – many of which "lurked in the depths of the code since the game's inception."
Some improvements and changes:
- Fixed crashes related to the hold and escape interface.
- Various graphics/render and gameplay mechanics fixes.
- Fixed errors related to the in-game interface. For example, pressing Esc again during a pause now returns to the game; and hints in HD resolution are no longer cut off at the right edge of the screen.
- Updated C++ multiplayer protocol to version 5;
- Improved network problem diagnostics for client and server;
