Has Hexe's Development Been Accelerated? Insider Reveals Release Date for New Assassin's Creed

20 Jun 10:31

Fans of the Assassin's Creed series might get a new installment sooner than expected: according to leaks, Assassin's Creed Hexe is in an advanced stage of development.

Unlike large-scale RPGs like Valhalla and Odyssey, the new game, according to sources, will be more intimate and closer in spirit to the classic installments of the series, as well as to Assassin's Creed Mirage. This could explain the shorter development cycle and accelerated release of the project.

Insider Rogue TX reported on platform X that Ubisoft's internal goal is a June 2027 release. This means the game could be released in about a year.

However, Ubisoft considers June to be the optimal timeframe, but in case of development issues, the release could be postponed to the safer autumn period of 2027, traditionally rich in holiday sales.

Rogue TX previously revealed information about Far Cry 7 and XDefiant, but new information should still be taken with a grain of salt.
