Sony has not yet published official figures, while Alinea Analytics estimates Saros sales at approximately 415,000 copies. The result does not seem critical for an original single-player game, but the situation changes when compared to other PlayStation products.
In the report, Saros lags behind MLB The Show 26, which sold about 756,000 copies in 2026. The gap with Gran Turismo 7 is even more noticeable: the 2022 game sold approximately 835,000 copies in 2026 alone – more than twice as many as Saros.
Other Sony projects also show better results. Ghost of Yotei sold about 1.1 million copies in the first half of the year, Spider-Man 2 – approximately 699,000, and Astro Bot added about 601,000 in 2026, exceeding 4.3 million sales in total. This highlights that major PlayStation franchises continue to generate stable sales years after release.
The main question surrounding Saros is Sony's expectations. If the project truly performs at the level of Returnal, Housemarque may have no cause for concern.
