Saber Interactive studio in June returned to the co-op shooter John Carpenter's Toxic Commando and presented the first major update "Urban Blight" with new content. The developers published an appeal to the community on Steam, also available in Russian:
Thank you very much for your feedback and comments since the release – they help us constantly improve the game. We hope you enjoy these new map and mission. The zombie battles continue: new weapons and vehicles await you, as well as a new challenge system, including daily, weekly, and seasonal tasks.
With the update, John Carpenter's Toxic Commando also added several weapon models, as well as the armored vehicle Thrasher APC, the Hornet enemy and more.
The creators of John Carpenter's Toxic Commando also launched a challenge for players: if they collectively destroy 30 million Roamers by June 30, they will unlock the Thunderbolt rifle.
In addition, the premium add-on "Cosmetic Pack 1" was released — this is a set of various skins and headwear for each character, and stickers for the car, profile decorations, and weapon decorations are also available.
