Recently, the creators of the truck driver simulator Euro Truck Simulator 2 presented a new diary dedicated to the development of the Turkey DLC. In this issue, they decided to showcase the development team.
For example, Vlad joined SCS Software – he used to be a modder, and now he's an official cartographer. He is currently working on a coastal city (the name is not yet revealed), creating complex road interchanges, and doing the initial landscape design:
I came from the modding community, where I passionately created maps for ETS2 for over 10 years. Now I've finally decided to join SCS Software, where I've been working for almost 2 months! As an experienced former logistician and freight forwarder, it was SCS's cargo delivery games that inspired me to study transport and logistics, which ultimately led me to work in that field in the past. On modding forums, I'm also known by the nickname "Vladzz-G". The Türkiye DLC is my first project at SCS. It's quite a mountainous country, so for me, it's a great opportunity and a serious challenge at the same time – to apply my 10 years of experience in map creation to recreate this region as realistically as possible.
The release date for the Soul of Anatolia DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 has not yet been announced. You can add the DLC to your Steam wishlist via the following link.
The published photos show monitors with the working interface and some models and locations from the game:
