"No Hentai": XenoFeels Space Customs Simulator Developers Reassure Players and Urge Removal of Tag from Steam
Some players expected to receive spicy content.
KotaMota Games studio participated in the June "Games Be" festival on Steam and presented a demo version of XenoFeels. They position their project as a space customs simulator.
Players will have to compare photos and documents to identify intruders:
Every day, ships from other galaxies fly through your asteroid: tourists, truckers, travelers... Bad news: there are terrorists among them. Miss even one – and your home planet will explode. Good news: you have a shotgun!
XenoFeels attracted some attention — the peak online of the demo version this weekend exceeded one thousand players. However, a problem arose: some pranksters set the user tag "hentai" (adult content).
This began to deter a certain audience and content creators. The developers assured that "there is no hentai in the game" and urged to remove the tag from the XenoFeels page on Steam:
Everyone who wanted to stream or make a video, don't worry! The tag was set by players, not developers. Yes, there is a lot of vulgarity in the game, but we tried not to overdo it and keep everything within 16+. Everyone who put this tag on us - please remove it.
The XenoFeels page on Steam is available at the following link. The exact release date has not yet been announced by the developers, but the release window is indicated — 2026.
