The former lead mission designer for GTA VI has joined the development of the expansion for The Witcher 3: Songs of the Past. We are talking about Guillermo Diaz Barquin, who, after almost seven years at Rockstar Games, moved to Fool's Theory and is responsible for quests in the new expansion.

CD Projekt Red continues to actively attract specialists from the industry's largest studios. Previously, the combat system designer from God of War, the writer of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and the cutscene animator from Expeditions 33 joined the work on The Witcher 4.

The Songs of the Past expansion, according to CDPR, should approach the scale and level of detail of "Blood and Wine." Barquin's experience gained while working on GTA VI will clearly help in creating more complex and multi-layered quests.
