Journalist Brad Sams commented on the topic of new console costs, stating that the next generation might be expensive.

Forecasts are appearing online that the PS6 and Xbox Project Helix could cost from $1200, and some analysts allow for an even higher price.

In their opinion, Sony and Microsoft may partially subsidize the initial batches, but the price will still be significantly higher than current consoles.
