The main roles are played by Zoë Kravitz and Sadie Sink, as well as Troy Baker, whose role has not yet been revealed. It is assumed that he might play the antagonist.
In Unhinged, players will use their phone as part of the gameplay: answering calls, using the flashlight, and interacting with events in real-time. The game is designed for approximately one hour of play and is presented as a tense interactive episode in the style of a Netflix series.
Director Sam Warner said he was inspired by the experience of games on Nintendo Wii and DS, and also aimed to emphasize "innovative gameplay."
Unhinged will be released on June 30, 2026, and will be available to all Netflix subscribers.
