NEXON recently announced that it will soon shut down the MMOFPS shooter Counter-Strike Nexon. This is a free-to-play project that has been available on Valve's service for over 10 years.

Counter-Strike Nexon is positioned as "CS 1.6 with various modes and features" – the project features both classic maps and modes familiar to players, such as "bomb defusal," and specific content, such as zombie mode. In addition, a wide arsenal and numerous characters with "exclusive skills" are available.

Support for Counter-Strike Nexon is planned to be completely discontinued at the end of September 2026:

We will never forget the active support and enthusiasm shown by all the survivors who have shared countless adventures and memories with CSN over the years. No words will bring full comfort regarding the closure of the service, but we will do our best to provide it in the best possible way until the very end, so that you can enjoy the game one last time and bring your journey in it to a worthy conclusion.

You can add Counter-Strike Nexon to your library on Steam via the following link. Collectible cards are available for the game and are still being sold on the marketplace. Usually, after a project closes, trading operations are blocked, but those who managed to get the game into their collection will be able to create card sets for gems.
