The publishing house "Niza Games" announced that it will release the board game Camp Grizzly: Second Edition in Russia. The first edition of the game appeared on Kickstarter more than 10 years ago and over time became a true "holy grail" for fans of thematic cooperatives: people bought the game on eBay for more than 38 thousand rubles.
In many ways, it became the inspiration for games like "Whispers in the Walls" and Final Girl. Now, finally, a new edition will appear — slightly redesigned and immediately with 8 expansions in the box. On Kickstarter, Camp Grizzly: Second Edition raised $469,440 (35,160,741 rubles).
Camp Grizzly is a cooperative (and sometimes semi-cooperative) survival horror game for 1–6 players, in which gamers take on the roles of camp counselors hunted by Otis — a serial killer in a bear mask.
To win, players must collect a set of objectives necessary to initiate and successfully complete one of four available endings. Along the way, counselors will find items and weapons to help them survive and fight off the villain, encounter unexpected plot twists, meet lost children in need of help, and participate in various activities.
