Fable Collector's Edition Sold Out in Days - Resellers Quadruple Price

The Collector's Edition of the new Fable sold out months before its release - resellers are already selling sets on eBay for $800.

After the June Xbox presentation, pre-orders for the new Fable began. Along with the standard edition, players were offered a Collector's Edition for $199.99 with a Jack statue, steelbook, and other bonuses. The entire stock of the Collector's Edition has been sold out, and resellers have started listing sets on eBay for almost $800.

Playground Games studio announced that the Collector's Edition sold out months before its release, scheduled for February 23, 2027. The developers have not announced any plans for an additional print run.

Following the sell-out announcement, listings for the Collector's Edition appeared on eBay for $799.90. One seller also listed a Jack statue for $50, but the photo shows that it is an unofficial copy with simplified details.

Instead of a possible restock, Playground Games suggests purchasing the Premium Edition. It includes in-game bonuses without the physical items from the collector's set.

The rapid sell-out of the Collector's Edition indicates high interest in the game. This is the first new installment in the series in many years and the first project in the franchise from Playground Games.
