Developers introduced many fictional brands in Grand Theft Auto V. However, as a player under the nickname chopopoulos believes, at least one real brand has made its way into the world of Rockstar Games.
While exploring Los Santos, chopopoulos stumbled upon a pile of trash and noticed a distinctive symbol and the inscription "Lipton." It is assumed to be a fragment of tea packaging:
We all know that GTA V is famous for its parody brands and fictional companies that imitate real products without using their real names. This is one of those features that make the game world unique. However, during my playthrough, I noticed that the game seems to have a real Lipton logo. At first, I thought I was imagining things, so I stopped, looked closer, and took this screenshot.
Players suggest that when creating the "pile of trash" asset, a real photograph might have been used as a reference, and Rockstar Games accidentally left a piece with the "Lipton" logo in the release version of the game.
A user under the nickname HeadlessVengarl95 noted that the penetration of a real brand into the game world also happened in Dark Souls II — then players were able to find the Heineken beer logo in a pile of trash.
