In late June, Saber Interactive announced the start of SnowRunner's 18th season, titled Patch & Power. In honor of this, the developers published an address to players in the Steam community, which is also available in Russian:
Hello everyone! We are happy to announce that Season 18 is out now! Get ready for a hot season, because this time we are heading to Mexico! You will find 2 new maps and the first ever jungle biome in SnowRunner! Explore everything from sandy beaches to lush forests and mangrove thickets, conquering a variety of challenging terrains.
According to the story, due to a tropical cyclone, the Mexican state of Chiapas found itself in distress. Players are invited to go there to help complete the construction of a new geothermal power plant.
The Patch & Power season includes two maps of 4 square kilometers each, as well as two vehicles – the Mercer R230 off-road truck and the HIB Billert M816 highway truck.
