At the end of June, NeoBards Entertainment and KONAMI pleased Silent Hill f fans with a small surprise. A mini-add-on was released for the game.
The DLC is called Crimson Butterfly Costume – it's a costume inspired by Mio Amakura, the main character of FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE.
The developers said that players will be able to use this Hinako outfit after installing the update and DLC:
To wear this outfit, approach the hokora shrine in the game and select "Change Outfit" from the menu. This outfit is available in the game to all players who have purchased the main Silent Hill f game. To access this outfit, you need to update the game to patch 1.20 or a newer version.
On the Silent Hill f page on Steam, this add-on may not be displayed, you can find it at the following link – you need to click the "Add to Library" button.
A new installment of the SILENT HILL franchise, SILENT HILL: Townfall, is currently in development. The project from Screen Burn studio is expected to be released on September 24, 2026:
Returning to the island town to "make things right," Simon Ordell finds himself in a world of oppressive anxiety, explosive encounters, and mind-bending puzzles that gradually reveal the truth about St. Amelia.
