After 28 years, Resident Evil 2 fans uncover the mystery of Jill Valentine's "boyfriend" - it turns out to be a famous actor
Recently, Resident Evil 2 fans were able to uncover another mystery of the game, which was released in 1998. For many years, some were tormented by one question: "whose photo was on Jill Valentine's desk?".
Due to the low resolution, the identity of this person could only be guessed, but recently a fan under the nickname Morio revealed this secret. To do this, he conducted an investigation: delved into old Japanese magazines and after "years of searching" was finally able to find out who was depicted in this photo.
The mysterious young man turned out to be actor Kyle MacLachlan, known for the TV series "Twin Peaks" and Amazon's Fallout.

Morio separately noted that this is not the only photo from magazines in Resident Evil 2. For example, in the game, the STARS special unit office also featured photos of Winona Ryder, actors from the "Back to the Future" franchise, Mel Gibson, and Jodie Foster.
When creating the Resident Evil 2 remake, the use of such elements in the design of locations was abandoned. Now, a golden retriever can be seen in the photo.
