The main character of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Jindřich (Henry), and Jan Ptáček at some point talked about how long they had known each other. The phrase "a couple of weeks" caught the attention of a user named polisnotokay, and he decided to conduct research into the story.

As a result, polisnotokay created a calendar with a chronology of events. He concluded that the main story of the first Kingdom Come: Deliverance actually lasts about five weeks. However, he made a reservation that due to the specifics of the game mechanics, the results of his research are "subjective."

During his playthrough, polisnotokay only completed side quests that intersected with the main ones, where the main character was asked for help, or where he "himself 'thought' about doing it." Fast travel was not used; he moved at a gallop on horseback and did not wake anyone up to "make the playthrough more realistic":

Given the compressed timeline of the KCD saga, I found it interesting to "break down" how long the main story actually takes [...] of course, the results are very subjective. KCD is a great game in that almost no two playthroughs are the same. I could easily fail a skill check and lose a day, or run into bandits and not make it to someone before they went to bed, etc.

Warhorse Studios noticed polisnotokay's research and wrote: "You might be even more organized [in understanding the lore] than we are!"

A full new installment of Kingdom Come is currently in development, but details have not yet been revealed.
