Recently, a new round of layoffs at Bungie became known. According to available information, several hundred specialists were affected by the cuts.
Cyberpunk 2077 Quest Director and sequel development lead Paweł Sasko reacted to the news and shared his opinion on social media. The developer is unhappy with what is happening in the gaming industry:
Sometimes I feel like our industry is collapsing — teams and game projects are being shut down almost every other day, and it's hard to keep track of it all.
Paweł Sasko noted that CD Projekt RED is looking for new employees and posted a link to the company's careers website:
We are fortunate that we are still hiring for all our games — in Poland, the US, and Canada. Pay attention!
Not only the Cyberpunk 2077 sequel is currently in development. CD Projekt RED teams are also working on a new "Witcher" (The Witcher 4 is expected to be the beginning of a new trilogy), and an expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, titled Songs of the Past, is also being prepared.
