In early 2024, the survival game Palworld was released in "early access" format. The game became a huge hit, and its peak online player count on Steam exceeded 2 million. The project is gradually moving towards the release of the full version, which will be very large.
Recently, John "Bucky" Buckley, the communications and publishing manager at Pocketpair, spoke about the scale of the improvements and changes in the 1.0 update – it will take up several dozens of pages:
Losing my mind trying to get the Palworld 1.0 patch notes in order… who would’ve thought that *looks at notes* 27 pages of PDF changes and additions would be so hard to neatly format.
It is already known that new Pals (pets) will be added to the game. When Bucky was asked about the number of newcomers, he replied: "More than we've ever added in a single update before."
Earlier, the developers published a trailer for the upcoming Palworld 1.0 update. In the final scene of the video, a glow appears around the World Tree, and some players believe it will be related to end-game content.
The full version of Palworld 1.0 is expected to be released on July 10 of this year.
