Sony and Take-Two continue their joint marketing campaign for GTA VI. Although the game will be released simultaneously on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, official materials increasingly focus on Sony's console.
As players noticed, the descriptions of the first and second GTA VI trailers only include links to the game's page in the PlayStation Store. There are no links to the Xbox Series X|S version in these materials.
Such marketing agreements have long been used in the gaming industry. Publishers often collaborate with console manufacturers, promoting one of the platforms in trailers and promotional materials.
However, this does not imply exclusivity. GTA VI will also be released on Microsoft consoles.
Currently, PlayStation is also promoting GTA VI as a game that "works best on PS5," emphasizing the capabilities of DualSense, 3D audio, and fast SSD.
