The end of July and August will bring the closure of servers for several games. In the coming weeks, online functions will be disabled for four projects, and one of the games will cease to function entirely.
First up is Madden NFL 23 — servers will be shut down on July 13, 2026. Then, on August 20, NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 and WWE 2K Battlegrounds will lose support. Both games have already been removed from sale in digital stores, and after the servers are shut down, their multiplayer modes will become unavailable.
The most serious consequences await Warface: Clutch. The shooter's servers will close on August 25. Since the game is entirely online-oriented, it will become unplayable after this date.
Other projects will also be affected. In DiRT Rally 2.0, the Racenet Clubs function will be disabled from July 8, while other online features will remain. In New World: Aeternum, in-game purchases will cease to work from July 20 — this is preparation for the complete server shutdown, which is scheduled for January 2027.
