"Duck Tarkov" received new mechanics and a map - a summer update has been released for Escape from Duckov

In late June, Team Soda and bilibili returned to the extraction shooter Escape from Duckov and introduced a summer update called "Summer Island Challenge Update." Players will be invited to explore a new map and experience additional gameplay mechanics.

This time, the duck will embark on an adventure on an island. However, players will not be able to bring previously acquired weapons or items to this map. They will have to start collecting necessary resources from scratch, complete quests, and fight bosses.

In total, 14 new quests have been added to Escape from Duckov, an "Island Challenge" cartridge has appeared, new weapons and items have been introduced, balance changes have been made, and more.

Additionally, the creators of Escape from Duckov introduced a new swimming mechanic, allowing players to create alternative routes for moving around the "island." However, they will first need to acquire a swimming ring: "Without it, survival becomes significantly more difficult."
