Atlus published its financial report for the year ended March 31, 2026. The company recorded significant growth: operating profit increased by 92.5% year-on-year, and net profit by 74.2%.

Despite the absence of major console releases during this period, Atlus noted that the multiplatform release of Raidou Remastered helped expand its audience domestically and internationally. The popularity of the Persona series also grew thanks to Persona 3 Reload for Nintendo Switch 2 and the free-to-play Persona 5: The Phantom X. As a result, total franchise sales reached 30 million copies. An additional factor was the success of Metaphor: ReFantazio, which received the “Game of the Year” award at the Japan Game Awards 2025.

The company acknowledges that rising development costs and inflation pose challenges for the industry. Atlus states that diversifying distribution models allows for building a long-term content delivery system “regardless of device or platform,” which raises expectations for future growth in the gaming business.

The studio's plans include Persona 4 Revival and Persona 6. The Persona 4 remake will be released on February 18, 2027, while the release window for Persona 6 has not yet been disclosed.
