Cosplayer Embodies Iris from "The Witcher 3" - Creator of the Painted World

Especially for fans of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Hearts of Stone" expansion, cosplayer Arina Zaburniyagina transformed into Iris von Everec - a talented Redanian artist with a tragic fate.

Photographer Ekaterina Morpheeva did not forget about the fans of the "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" role-playing action universe, who regularly receive all sorts of gifts from cosplayers, modders, and more.

She published photos where model Arina Zaburniyagina appeared as Iris von Everec – a talented Redanian artist and one of the central characters of the "Hearts of Stone" expansion.

Iris became the wife of the nobleman Olgierd von Everec, but their love story turned into a nightmare due to her husband's deal with Gaunter O'Dimm. The heroine's appearance reflects her deep suffering and melancholy. She is a young, refined woman with pale skin, delicate facial features, and large, dark eyes full of sadness.

Her dark hair is styled in a strict updo, and she wears a black mourning dress that emphasizes her status as a recluse and her grief. Even after death, her ghost retains this fragile yet haunting girlish silhouette, surrounded by a gloomy aura.

This character is primarily interesting for the depth of her tragedy. Olgierd wished for immortality and wealth, but in return received a "heart of stone," losing the ability to love Iris. To save his wife from destitution and himself, he locked her in the manor with supernatural guardians and gave her a purple rose as a farewell.

Iris died of longing and a broken heart, and her strong emotions created the Painted World – an illusory reality within her own paintings, where Geralt goes.
