The developers of God Save Birmingham have completed the first stage of beta testing, which ran until June 29. With this, the studio refuted accusations from some players who considered the project a scam.
After testing, positive reviews appeared on Steam. Some users even called God Save Birmingham “the best zombie game in history.” At the same time, players note that the project still requires refinement, including the technical part and the interface.
Gameplay footage also appeared online, published by bloggers Resonant and Ser Medieval. Both authors positively reviewed the game and showed what survival among hordes of zombies looks like.
Compared to the first official materials, the beta version looks simpler. It does not have such large hordes of zombies that were demonstrated in early trailers, which may indicate a graphical or technical downgrade.
