Rockstar revealed GTA VI arsenal - 16 weapon types confirmed

Rockstar Games has revealed 16 types of firearms for GTA VI and confirmed that the gear carrying system will be limited.

Rockstar Games has shown part of the arsenal that the main characters, Jason and Lucia, will be able to use. From two trailers, official images, and Ultimate Edition materials, 16 types of firearms have been confirmed.

The developers have also changed the weapon carrying system. As in Red Dead Redemption 2, characters will not be able to carry the entire arsenal at once. Before missions, they will have to choose the necessary equipment.

Currently confirmed:

• Combat MG light machine gun;
• New model double-barrel shotgun;
• Sniper rifle;
• Grenade launcher;
• Micro SMG;
• Polymer pistol;
• Girardi ES9;
• Klose K17;
• Colt M1911 style pistol with "Capo" inscription;
• Mustang .357 revolver;
• Hawk & Little Morgan revolvers (Ultimate Edition bonus);
• Carbine Rifle assault rifle in two variants;
• Bolt-Action Rifle;
• Springfield M1A;
• SMG;
• MP5.

This is clearly only part of the arsenal. Promotional materials showed a baseball bat, a hammer, a billiard cue, and a golf club. It is still unknown whether they will become full-fledged weapons or only be useful in side activities.

GTA VI will be released on November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
