Gaijin Network, known to many for the online action game War Thunder, also acts as the publisher of the new extraction shooter Active Matter, developed by Matter Team.
Recently, the developers announced that they are working on new cars that will appear in the game in an upcoming update, and published a short gameplay teaser:
And now we share with you a real artifact of the post-Soviet space – a GAI car, which can now be used for its intended purpose, as well as turn on flashing lights and a siren to strike fear into offenders!
Currently, Active Matter is distributed on PC through the official website, but the game is intended to be released on Steam as well. The page on Valve's service is available at the following link, and the release window was indicated as 2026:
You are an operative trapped in a time loop, always returning to the same point after death. Choose your gear and enter quantum-unstable zones rich in active matter – the most valuable and dangerous resource in the entire multiverse. Fight rivals from other timelines, survive anomalies, collect active matter, and try to escape before the entire zone ceases to exist with everything inside it.
