PlayStation "Confuses" Players with $100 Prices in PS Store

PlayStation may have inadvertently promoted higher price standards in the PS Store. The reason for this was strange product cards with a price of $100, among which GTA VI is mentioned.

GTA VI has become one of the first games for which a new price level is actively being discussed. The standard edition is priced at $80, while the Ultimate version reaches $100. The editorial team at Mp1st drew attention to unusual behavior in the PS Store, which could mislead users.

In the PlayStation Store, some games are displayed with a $100 price directly on the main product card. However, visually and by description, the standard edition is shown, and then the link leads to Deluxe or Ultimate versions. Examples include GTA VI, EA Sports College Football 27, and EA Sports NFL 27.

The editorial team noted that the PS Store usually correctly separates different editions of games, so a technical glitch seems unlikely. A bug in the automatic system that substitutes incorrect images or descriptions is more probable. As a result, users see the cover of the base version and the price of the premium edition.

This situation will lead to confusion: some players will think that prices have risen to $100, while others will accidentally choose the expensive version.
