This year, Xbox celebrates its 25th anniversary, and Microsoft is preparing several anniversary products. Reportedly, one of them – a special controller in the style of the first Xbox console – will go on sale earlier than expected.
It was previously reported that in November, the company would unveil limited edition Xbox Series X consoles and a gamepad with a design inspired by the original Xbox. According to insider eXtas1s, the controller will be released separately on October 20, 2026.
According to his data, the device will cost 79.99 euros, and pre-orders will open during Gamescom 2026 – the event will take place from August 26 to 30.
However, the start dates for sales of the anniversary console remain unknown.
