Players attacked PlayStation's YouTube channel over disc abandonment - comments turned into a protest

Players continue to protest PlayStation's decision to abandon new disc-based games starting in 2028. Almost every comment under videos on the company's official YouTube channel is now dedicated to physical copies.

Sony has temporarily stopped managing other social networks, only publishing videos on YouTube to promote partner games. However, users are not discussing the games but are leaving messages criticizing the company's policy.

"You will own nothing and be happy. Don't let them destroy our future," one player wrote.

Fans also returned to old videos, including a video from the PS4 presentation in 2016. Even under the ten-year-old Marvel's Spider-Man trailer, comments about discs appeared.

Pressure on Sony continues.
