Saber Interactive, known to many for SnowRunner and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, actively creates games based on various licenses. The success of some of its projects has attracted the attention of franchise owners, and the developers are now receiving a large number of diverse offers.

In a recent conversation with The Game Business, Chief Creative Officer Tim Willits said that the studio more often declines offers than accepts them.

Willits highly values this ability to refuse — he likes that the studio has reached a position where it can afford to say “no” to franchise owners:

[…] because we have a reputation as a studio that works great with licensed franchises, every major rights holder wants to make a video game. That's just how it is — literally everyone. So we are in a very advantageous position and can decline more offers than we accept. I can't name specific names, but… I'll put it this way: you know you've succeeded when you turn down those guys. It's nice to be in that position.

During the interview, Tim Willits emphasized that Saber Interactive is open to organic growth but wants to act wisely and not make mistakes.

Saber currently has several projects in the works based on various franchises, such as Hellraiser: Revival, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3, Turok: Origins, Hitman Classic Trilogy Remastered.
