Arc Raiders will give away a free skin, but you'll have to play another Embark Studios online shooter
The developers will once again try to attract players to The Finals.
Last year, the Embark Studios team launched a promotion to attract players to their older project — the free-to-play online shooter The Finals. At that time, a special task was launched in the game, for completing which players could receive cosmetic content in Arc Raiders.
Recently, the developers announced a new round of this promotion:
Complete a set of contracts in The Finals and unlock the "Azimuth" suit and "Archeologist" backpack in Arc Raiders. The items are inspired by explorers, raiders, and fighters [from The Finals] who dare to conquer new horizons beyond the stratosphere.
The Arc Raiders x The Finals promotion is scheduled to start on July 9 and will last until July 30. After this date, the developers will "change the order of operations" — players will be able to get the Azimuth set in The Finals for playing Arc Raiders. Details of this "reverse" promotion have not yet been disclosed.
Recently, update 1.36.0 was released for Arc Raiders. Embark Studios fixed several technical issues, adjusted the balance, and made changes to the game's matchmaking.
