"Steve's life will change forever" - he can sit down. Minecraft developers showed mechanics and a new biome "Dappled Forest"
The ability to make Steve sit down is a long-standing dream for some fans of the game.
The Mojang Studios team has published an overview trailer for a new biome for Minecraft from update 26.3. It is called Dappled Forest.
According to some Minecraft developers, this biome is truly unique. Gameplay engineer Leon Yao explained his vision:
I think the Dappled Forest turned out to be truly unique. We managed to find a very good tree height - you can ride through the forest without touching the leaves. I think that's great.
A "straw bed" will be available in the game: this is a kind of "bedding" that will allow players to lie down in the forest and skip the night, i.e., they won't have to return to a normal bed. However, there is a nuance: when the player wakes up, the bedding breaks.
The developers also talked about a feature that "will change Steve's life forever." Players will receive a cushion on which they can sit.

Players have long asked for such a feature in Minecraft and thanked Mojang Studios for such a sought-after innovation.
The creators of Minecraft have not yet announced the release date of the update with the new biome.
