Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has been a success and received many positive reviews. However, this has not helped the career of one of the main actors.

Actor Luke Dale, who played Jan Ptáček in both parts of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, said in a recent interview that after the game's success, he expected new offers, but they haven't come:

I wish I could say that my work on Kingdom Come II and the fact that millions of people played it led to new [role] offers, but that hasn't happened.

According to Luke, Warhorse Studios is “just a godsend” – they were very supportive and “really believed” in the actor throughout the entire work process. However, the industry “as a whole never cared” about Luke Dale.

Players were interested in his character, so the actor decided to take advantage of this and started streaming:

And I thought, “How can I turn [the success of KCD II] into something really cool for myself personally?” That's where streaming came in. I decided, “It seems people want me to do this, so let's try it.” If more acting work comes from it – great, but I'm not going to rely on it. I know people want to see my streams, and I can build a community if I want to and work hard. So I did – and it worked incredibly well. I'm very proud of it, and now it brings me immense pleasure.

According to Luke Dale, his industry colleagues should consider streaming:

I've seen a lot of actors who had the opportunity to stream the game they starred in, and I think, “Why aren't you doing it?” It's not for everyone, I understand, but at least think about it. Don't miss out on such things, because it might turn out to be the best thing you've ever done. For me, that's how it turned out – [streaming] completely changed my life. I can work from anywhere in the world, and that's what I've always dreamed of. I always wanted to be a digital nomad. Now I live in Prague, and I really like it here.
