During Summer Game Fest, Final Fantasy VII Revelation, the concluding part of the remake trilogy, was announced. Cloud Strife's voice actor assures that it will be the most emotional episode in the series.
Cody Christian, who lent his voice to the main character, spoke at the KawaCon festival and said that the script features unusual emotional depth and great attention to the characters' experiences. According to him, if players managed to hold back tears while playing the previous two parts, the trilogy's finale is unlikely to allow them to maintain composure.
In the new trilogy, Square Enix significantly altered the plot of the original game, adding the theme of multiverses. Because of this, even series veterans cannot predict how the story will end.
Developers previously confirmed that in Revelation, players will be able to freely explore the world on the Highwind airship. Vincent Valentine and Cid Highwind will also become permanent party members.
