The developers of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis have unveiled a new video dedicated to Peru – one of the most iconic locations in the series' history. The video showcases dangerous creatures Lara Croft will encounter during her journey, including a tyrannosaurus.
Peru was designed as a mysterious region with various climatic zones where animals from different eras can coexist. Therefore, Lara will encounter wolves, bats, bears, and prehistoric predators.
Special attention is given to the return of the T-Rex – its confrontation with Lara was one of the most memorable episodes of the first Tomb Raider. In the remake, the scene has been completely redesigned with modern graphics and improved enemy AI. In the Lost Valley, the heroine will also encounter velociraptors.
The developers aim to make survival scenes more intense: animals will react more naturally to their surroundings, and detailed locations will enhance the atmosphere. The game will be released on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
