Sony seems to have noticed that players have started massively canceling PlayStation Plus subscriptions. The company has already offered discounts to some users.

Almost a week after announcing the gradual discontinuation of physical game releases, Sony has reappeared in the public eye. Instead of support, the company faced a cold reaction from the community.

Many players began canceling PlayStation Plus in protest against SIE's latest decisions. According to Reddit users, Sony has started sending discount offers to owners of PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium plans.

The largest discount applies to a three-month subscription — its cost has been reduced by 50%. The annual Premium plan has also become cheaper, offered at a 25% discount.

One user from the UK reported a 33% discount on PS Plus Premium, which sparked speculation about possible dynamic pricing testing. Judging by player reactions, many still decided to cancel their subscriptions.
