Atlus unveiled a new trailer for Persona 4 Revival, dedicated to the main character of the jRPG remake. The biggest surprise was the announcement of who will be responsible for creating the animated scenes — it's Studio MAPPA, known for Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man.

The new video showcased the hero, canonically named Yu Narukami. As in the original game, players can choose his name at the beginning. The story once again sends the player to the quiet town of Inaba, where a series of mysterious murders will force high school students to uncover the truth and awaken their Persona powers.

The anime cutscenes are particularly noteworthy. MAPPA has previously created scenes for projects such as Jujutsu Kaisen, Chainsaw Man, the final season of Attack on Titan, and Hell’s Paradise.

Persona 4 Revival will be released on February 18, 2027, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on release day.
