David Hayter, known for his role as Snake in the Metal Gear Solid series, has joined the criticism of PlayStation's decision to stop producing discs for new games after 2028.
The actor didn't just make a brief comment; he posted a photo of his collection of consoles and physical game editions. The picture shows GTA V and RDR 2. Hayter added a short hashtag to the post: "No disc, no buy," and also tagged the official PlayStation account.
In the comments, the actor clarified that the boxes shown are only a small part of his collection. According to him, he also owns over 2500 movies on DVD.
The post received thousands of reactions from fans, many of whom supported Hayter's stance. Earlier, other industry representatives also spoke out against Sony's decision.
The "No disc, no buy" movement extends beyond the gaming community, with prominent figures in the gaming industry joining in.
