Assetto Corsa EVO developers, who previously abandoned the promised career mode, faced criticism from players. This also affected the game's rating on Steam – only 59% of users recommend the project.
KUNOS Simulazioni studio hopes to rectify the situation with update 0.8. It will add three new cars: KTM X-Bow GT2, KTM X-Bow GT4, and Volkswagen Golf 8 R.
The patch will also introduce the Kyalami track. Additionally, developers will allow the use of community-created cars in multiplayer – in separate modes with mod support.
The authors reported VRAM usage optimization, improved GPU performance, and significant rendering enhancements in VR. Cockpit glass effects, rain droplets, and wiper operation have also been updated.
The release of update 0.8 is expected in the coming days.
