The events of Tomb Raider: Catalyst will unfold in northern India several years after the events of Tomb Raider: Underworld. Lara will embark on a quest for an ancient power among the ruins uncovered by a catastrophe to prevent a new threat.
Legacy of Atlantis will be a remake of the first game in the series. Here, Lara will be younger and more naive, just beginning her journey as an adventurer. Regan said she was inspired by classic games, films with Angelina Jolie, and the Survivor trilogy version of the character.
Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis will be released on February 12, 2027, on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. The release date for Catalyst is currently unknown.
