Genshin Impact developers will again increase system requirements on PC and smartphones - with the release of update 7.0

The creators of Genshin Impact have announced a new round of system requirement increases. miHoYo (HoYoverse) plans to change them with the release of update 7.0, which will introduce the new region of Snezhnaya to the game.

According to the Genshin Impact developers, in version 7.0, the graphics quality will be even higher, thanks to "improved models for new characters, new environment textures, and visual effects."

Minimum system requirements for Genshin Impact on iOS:

  • Devices: iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, iPad mini (5th generation), iPad Air (3rd generation) or iPad (8th generation) and above
  • Processor: iPhone with Apple A11 processor and above, or iPad with Apple A12 processor and above
  • RAM: 3 GB and above
  • System version: iOS version 14.0 and above

Recommended system requirements for Genshin Impact on iOS:

  • Devices: iPhone 12 or iPad (9th generation) or above
  • Processor: Apple A13 and above
  • RAM: 4 GB and above
  • System version: iOS version 14.0 and above

Minimum system requirements for Genshin Impact on Android:

  • SoC: Snapdragon 660 (Adreno 512) or Helio G88 (Mali-G52 MC2) and above
  • RAM: 4 GB and above
  • System version: Android version 10.0 and above

Recommended system requirements for Genshin Impact on Android:

  • Processor: Snapdragon 855, MediaTek Dimensity 1000, Kirin 980 and above
  • RAM: 6 GB and above
  • System version: Android version 12.0 and above

  • Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit
