The main innovations of patch 0.8 for Assetto Corsa EVO are three new cars and a race track. An equally important part of the update was bug fixes, especially in multiplayer, where the developers made a number of changes aimed at reducing the number of freezes.
The authors significantly improved performance, paying special attention to video memory allocation. The effect of trees suddenly appearing when viewed from the cockpit has also been eliminated, and crashes on Radeon RX 9070 XT and RX 7600 graphics cards have been fixed.
Serious changes also affected the VR mode. The developers added foveated rendering, as well as many other improvements and fixes.
