Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV received a new gameplay showcase lasting over 15 minutes. The developers demonstrated a battle between two factions – Necrons and Adeptus Mechanicus.
The main novelty of the series will be the appearance of Adeptus Mechanicus as a full-fledged playable faction. The army of technological fanatics uses the Noosphere Network system: connecting buildings into a network reduces the cost of troop production and strengthens defensive turrets. Players will have access to Skitarii Rangers scouts, heavy vehicles, and powerful Knight Castellan mechs.
Necrons rely on virtually infinite army regeneration. Their Power Matrix system allows them to gain resources, restore units, accelerate troop replenishment, and quickly move defensive structures across the map.
In the match, the Necrons held the initiative for a long time, but the Adeptus Mechanicus won thanks to skillful resource management and the use of heavy units.
The game will be released on September 16, 2026, on PC via Steam.
