Usually, seasonal content from battle passes in games becomes exclusive, meaning players who missed it can no longer obtain the items. However, not all players are happy with this approach.

Recently, Battlefield 6 published a new mini-dev diary dedicated to changes in the battle pass system. The developers stated that they heard the community's request and plan to start adding items from old battle passes to the store:

We’ve heard players who want more opportunities to earn or acquire cosmetic items they may have missed, while still maintaining the excitement of participating in each season as it happens.

Starting with Season 4, Battlefield 6 will “bring back select items” from past battle passes as goods and bundles in the in-game store.

The developers clarified that items will not return earlier than three months after the end of the corresponding battle pass. In their opinion, this will give players who participated in the season “an initial period of exclusivity” before some of the content reappears for sale.

Far from all content will return from battle passes; rewards like Battle Pass Instant Unlocks and BF Pro Instant Unlocks, as well as items from the Ultimate and Prestige tiers, will remain exclusive.
