The situation with the Ayaneo Pocket Micro 2 portable console continues to surprise gamers. On June 26, the developers opened pre-orders for it, but users instantly bought up the new product, as the team allocated only 100 devices for the international market and about 1000 for the Chinese market.
This decision quickly backfired on the company, as more people wanted to purchase the device than expected. Ayaneo then began to assess the cost of purchasing new materials, as well as checking how many remaining components were available at the factory, before making further decisions regarding the fate of the Pocket Micro 2.
It is now known that on July 11 at 06:00 Moscow time, the developers reopened sales of the Pocket Micro 2. The device appeared on the official Ayaneo website and was sold on a first-come, first-served basis, but the circulation was again limited, and the console was instantly sold out again. This time, the team also added a model with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory in the "starry purple" color.
The prices were as follows: 6 GB + 128 GB — $239 (18,408 rubles, color — "midnight black" or "frost white"), 6 GB + 128 GB — $269 (20,719 rubles, color — "starry purple"), 8 GB + 256 GB — $279 (21,489 rubles, color — "midnight black" or "frost white"), 8 GB + 256 GB — $309 (23,800 rubles, color — "starry purple").
